I concur with both Frater and your own intuition as to what is happening.

So long as you have a vision of where you are trying to get to you should be alright in the long run. This would be the 'Great Attractor' that pulls you towards it.

Believe, indeed, know your truth and you will get there. It can be hard in situations such as you are experiencing, the dissolution of forms is not an easy thing to undergo, but is necessary in order to make space for that which you desire to replace it with.

What Frater suggests wrt the Banishing and Invocation will help clear your inner space of that which needs to go and help you earth the new energies you wish to manifest.

Comment by Frater LMHPCD on November 3, 2009 at 11:30am: Well I am sorry but I have found that when these things happen ( the dark night of the soul ) that you are almost there. I too have lost every thing and found that in it I had gained everything.
Do be careful of people, some times they will attack when you think they are trying to help.
I would take your book and go through the banishing. Then try the supreme invocation of the pentagram. This will help balance the elements with in your self and you may be able to change your present situation with a more clear and direct mind. You may also work with the invocation of the element earth to help balance out the energy's that are effecting you finances.

I used to feel that I lived an almost magical life and that angels really watched over me. I possessed healing abilities, what might be telepathic gifts and could even manifest. As things stand now, the ecomonic downturn is still being felt here at my house, despite what the media says, and I and my family are in dire straits. Any magical attributes I feel I might have had before have abandoned me and I fear, so have my angels. Speaking of fear, that is a prevalent feeling that I have tried so hard to conquer, but as I look at the real possibility that we may lose our house, it it almost constant. It is a doublewide with a leaky roof (falling in over my kitchen sink) and hard to keep clean. I have long hated it and now realize that I have actually manifested a way to be rid of it. I guess that is a lesson to be wary of what you wish for, although my wish was actually to be able to afford a better home. I am at the moment parting ways with a healing center that opened a few months ago, that I feel blocked at every turn at. The center itself feels destined to fail. I feel the young owners want my knowledge and skills, but not me. Everything is falling apart at once and I am unsure of what to do next.

Not to be selfish but we are all in the same cosmic mind and contentiousness. This is were we strive to be.. If you worship some other entity you are not able to die to your self and join the great cosmoses. Entity's are not to be worshiped... even the Gods of Egypt arent here to be worshiped. They are all here to be understood, retailed with ( there all part of you ) , tamed and in some insistences controlled. Not worshiped. The hardest part of magic is getting the right frame of mind. There are a lot of blocks there to keep the profain away and some times take years to gain the proper understanding of WHY.

And for that matter Satan worship is useless in the great work. Even in Aleister Crowleys Book Four it states that " The Devil does not exist. It is a false name invented by Black Brothers to imply a Unity in their ignorant muddle of dispersions. A devil who had unity would be a God." To worship satan is to go against the Great Work completely. God is with in you and you with in God. Worshiping Satan would be like worshiping the human body rather than the soul. I refrain from listening or reading any work done by some one that dose not understand this point. Be careful what you read!
